Good public policy is vital to improving outcomes for children and institutionalizing long-term change. Recognizing that all three levels of government children, the Larry King Center focuses on public policy at the local and state level.

Policy Agenda

Coalition-Building
Convene stakeholders to speak as one voice to policy makers
Direct Advocacy
Work directly with policy makers to shift legislation and other policies to support advocacy priorities
Budget-Tracking
Track the budget process for state and local government and analyze the impact of proposed budgets on children and key priorities. Providing support and technical assistance to providers, agencies, and funders as they work to positively impact the lives of children through policy
